Swine Flu: What Are The Symptoms?
The symptoms of the swine flu are rather similar to those of the regular flu. Influenza is ordinarily a respiratory illness and the latest known symptoms of swine flu are;
- Fever
- Headache
- Sore Throat
- Nasal Stuffines
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Night Sweats
- Body Aches
- Chills
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Lack of Appetite
- Myalgia
- Dyspnea
- Conjuctivitus (rare cases)
Diarrhea and vomiting are a very uncommon symptom of the normal flu, except from children, so this could possibly be a distinctive point.
Severe diseases in the cases of pneumonia, respiratory failure and fatal outcomes have been reported with swine influenza.
If you have any of the above sypmtoms it is recommended to take a trip to your doctor and have it checked out. Even if you feel you are getting better it is better to be safe than sorry. If you have a fever or flu, generally feel worse than normal, have a long lasting headache which wont seem to go away, If you have a stiff neck, swollen joints, rashes etc, then goto the doctor. Wether it turns out to be swine flu or not, he will provide some sort of medication to tackle your illness.
