We’ve all seen the TV show, The Biggest Loser, and we all admire the contestants for their great determination resulting in those amazing results they achieve, whether they win or not. I love this program and I hope that it motivates you and others into losing your excess fat, too. In this article i’m going to show how you can be the biggest loser! To make the article easier to follow I will break it down into 3 easy to follow sections.

There are many quick ways to lose weight out there, but lets start with a good healthy diet! I’m going to imagine that you like everybody else, eats 3 large meals per day and indulges in a few snacks in between. Change this, and lose weight eating! You ideally want to be eating 5-6 smaller meals per day. This stops your body from getting hungry and going into a small state of starvation mode, which in turn slows down your metabolism. This also reduces the urge to snack which will help to kick the habit! Eat a large breakfast, research shows that eating a larger breakfast fills you up for longer and gives you more energy to kick start the day. Stick to these easy eating rules and your metabolism will have a massive boost and keep working at an optimum level for losing weight. If you tend to struggle finding a decent healthy diet or you can’t stick to one and end up trying a load of fad diets, I recommend trying a diet program. There are plenty about and they offer all sorts of packages such as online recipes, calorie counters, diet plans, communities with like minded people and a lot more. However, be careful as there are a lot of scams out there which just don’t work so make sure you follow some good advice and pick an approved diet plan.

Next thing, what are you drinking? Forget those sodas and shakes etc, one of the best and most over looked additions to a healthy diet is water. Water make you lose weight. Drink around 8x 8ounce glasses of water per day. There are so many benefits to this that go much further than just helping to lose weight so i’l keep it short and sweet. Your body weight is around 60% water believe it or not, so it makes sense to have a good healthy flow! Your kidneys need plenty of water to function properly, If your kidneys are dehydrated then they need a helping hand from your Liver. Your liver metabolizes fat and turns stored fat into energy. So, if your livers are busy helping your Kidneys that means that you aren’t metabolizing fat very well, and thus your metabolism is slowed right down. If you struggle to drink that recommended amount of water try adding flavorings such as lemon, lime, ginger and so on.

Ok, so we have our diet nailed and you are on your way to being a big loser, now we want to get on top of our exercise. Exercise isn’t essential in losing weight, but it sure helps a lot and gets you fit along the way. If you struggle to get motivated enough to go for a run or so then call on some friends to join in with you, or find a group of like minded people by joining a weight loss community on the internet. Set yourself some goals, work towards them and track your progress, for example you want to be able to run 2km but can’t quite make it. Keep at it and every time you should get a little further and when you can finally reach the target, give yourself a pat on the back, make a record of it and set a new goal of 3km and repeat, repeat, repeat! Nothing motivates you more than actually seeing results!

So there you have my 3 top tips to help you lose weight and become the biggest winner! They are 3 very simple steps and if you have the motivation and determination to lose some pounds, then this information is fool proof!
